This second volume comprises the following chapters: 
The Chapter on the holiday. It deals with the recitation of the Code of Discipline, which will take place every half month (on new and full moons) wherever a sufficiently large group of bhikkhus gathers. 
The Chapter on entry into the rainy season residence, on the provision for retirement during the three-month rainy season, when bhikkhus must remain in a fixed place, except for specific reasons. 
The Chapter on Invitation Protocol. At the end of the retreat they should invite their peers to say if they have any criticisms of their behavior. 
The Chapter on skins, and deals with various topics. 
The Chapter on Medicines. 
Recall that the purpose was to project a good image of the Sangha to the laity who were the ones who ultimately supported, sustained and maintained the bhikkhus.
